Sea Salt Peanut Butter Bars

Equipment

  • Large Mixing Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 ¼ cups peanut butter
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • sea salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter and 1 cup of peanut butter.
  • Place powdered sugar and graham cracker crumbs into a bowl. Add in the melted butter and peanut butter mixture. Mix well!
  • Spread the mixture evenly in a 9" x 13" pan.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the chocolate and 1/4 cup of peanut butter on a medium-low heat. Make sure to constantly stir in order to avoid burning the chocolate.
  • Spread the chocolate mixture evenly over the graham cracker mixture.
  • Allow the chocolate to cool for 3 minutes.
  • Sprinkle some sea salt to taste.
  • Place in the freezer for 3 hours to harden.
